One of our most popular Water Purification systems uses a unique engineering feature whereby the water, as well as being filtered to the tiny size of 1 micron, is also subjected to the sanitizing abilities of both ozone and ultraviolet light.  This means that the primary chamber into which the water is initially introduced is lethal to micro-organisms.

Some DWS utilize ultraviolet light; however, no one to our knowledge uses both UV light and ozone together which, with a synergistic ability, destroys micro-organisms.  Ozone, of course, also possesses the ability to break down chemicals and VOCS.  The casing of this "Other" water purifier is purposely made of a clear, polycarbonate acrylic which enables the happy owner to instantly view the interior of their DWS.  And, guess what? the interior stays spotlessly clean, as the ozone "scrubs" the chamber and prevents the normal, gooey buildup so common in most DWS cartridges.
