Eureka Sanitaire Commercial Vacuums
Eureka/Sanitaire Vacuums are, in most instances, spin-offs of
residential vacuums. By this we mean that Eureka either takes a residential
vacuum and modifies it somewhat for commercial use; or, they are using, for
example, an upright vacuum that used to be (when average household vacuums were
made a lot better than they are today) a residential model.
We always recommend, wherever possible, that - while balancing budget and need -
the best possible vacuum be used - especially for commercial use where the
vacuums are being so heavily used (and abused).
For this reason, we mainly sell either of two upright vacuums for commercial
use, and either of two canister vacuums for commercial use. The upright vacuums
are either the all-metal Royal upright vacuum or the Lindhaus twin-motor upright
vacuum, and the canister vacuums are either the all-metal Royal tank vacuum or
the Numatic canister vacuum.

We may have seem like we have wandered a bit from our webpage here on Eureka/Sanitaire
vacuums; however, we are just giving you some advice based on the benefit of
over 45 years in the vacuum business. We know that, in most instances in
constant commercial use, a Eureka or Sanitaire commercial upright vacuum will
probably last about a year. Our most popular Sanitaire upright vacuum is a $300
vacuum which we sell at $199.
It is undoubtedly the best value in the commercial vacuum industry if you are
looking for the best possible quality at the most affordable price. We
certainly have "commercial" uprights at lower prices; however, they are, to put
it bluntly, absolutely "throw-away" vacuums after a very sort time of use.
If you are looking for a commercial, compact canister vacuum we would suggest
the Sanitaire Mighty Mite. It is lightweight, compact and portable, has a full
set of tools, and is great for small area rugs, bare floors, dusting, edges,
etc.
The commercial Sanitaire upright we sell uses a paper disposable bag system, as
does the Mighty Mite. We know that many commercial users still prefer to use
cloth empty-out bag systems; however, such designs are filthy and unhealthy and
we do not sell them. The extra expense of the paper bags is more than
compensated for by the extra measure of health provided by the filtering action
of the paper bag.

The
Eureka Company makes a reasonably broad range of commercial upright vacuum
cleaners under the Sanitaire label and, essentially duplicates that model lineup
under the Eureka Commercial label.
We physically stock one model Sanitaire Upright vacuum. We are happy to
order as needed any other models. Much of the reason for stocking only one
model is due to the fact that most of our commercial upright business is found
in either metal Royal upright vacuums or in twin-motor Lindhaus Commercial
