Pullman/Holt Commercial Vacuum Cleaners

Pullman/Holt (a division of White Mop Wringer Company) is one of the oldest manufacturers of janitorial floor care equipment in the industry.  We have been distributing Pullman/Holt equipment (including their Central Vacuum Systems - now no longer made) since about 1965!

Pullman/Holt makes a complete line of commercial vacuums including dry canisters, wet/dry canisters, squeegee vacuums, upright vacuums and backpack vacuums. They also make a superb line of floor machines, and a good line of carpet extraction machines.  They make autoscrubbers for cleaning of larger areas of hard floor surfaces.

Pullman also makes drum vacuums which is a motor head that fastens to a 55 gallon drum via an adaptor.  Different filtration assemblies can be used in this situation to accomodate different filtering needs.  Drum vacuums are normally used for the high volume removal of dry particulate.  Pullman also makes vacuums for use in explosive conditions.  Such vacuums use turbines driven by compressed air; thus, a separate air compressor is mandatory to power the vacuum.

Pullman/Holt commercial vacuums include both poly construction as well as cold-rolled steel and stainless steel.  The best units always use stainless steel containers as these containers are strong, don't rust and, especially in health-care situations, can be sanitized.  Motors vary in size up to 2 hp; so, vacuums can be matched to different cleaning applications - i.e., a different type of airflow and suction balance is needed for removing powdered sugar than is needed for removing lead dust, etc.  Container sizes for portable canister Pullman vacuums range up to 20 gallons.

Most of our commercial canister vacuum business in latter years is in the Numatic line of equipment.  Numatic makes, generally speaking, more powerful vacuums than does Pullman/Holt and, especially in more compact sizes, provides such an excellent combination of power and versatility that everybody loves `em.  To connect to our webpage on Numatic vacuums, please "click" here.
